Appointments can be made by calling our office at 562-431-2748 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. For new patients, please arrive at least fifteen minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow ample time for completing pre-visit paperwork. We value your time and we will do our very best to honor your appointment time.
If you cannot keep an appointment, we request that at least 24 hours notice be given to the office. This allows us to make your appointment time available for another patient.
For new patients a full examination may range anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on any necessary testing. It is a good idea to bring a driver with you on the day of your first visit in case your pupils need to be dilated. Dilating your pupils may result in temporary blurry vision and light sensitivity that may last for 4 to 6 hours.
If you have any new eye symptoms or vision changes, we will do our best to accommodate you into our office schedule as soon as possible. If you have an urgent eye problem after office hours, you may call our office number and the answering service will notify our doctor.
For life threatening emergencies, please call 911.

Accepted Insurance Plans
We accept most major insurance plans as well as a number of local HMO’s and IPA’s. If we do not participate with your insurance and your plan allows for out-of-network benefits, then our friendly staff can assist you with the necessary paperwork so you can receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
If you do not find your insurance plan on the list, please call our office to allow us to confirm that we are in-network for your plan. Please have your insurance details readily available when calling in to book your appointment.
